Worldover, AI operating system for substance-based businesses

GHS label softwaredriven by the classification, not retyped.

A GHS label is a summary of the classification: pictograms, signal word, hazard and precautionary statements, and supplier details. When labels are designed by hand, they drift from the SDS. Worldover generates labels from the same classification that produces the SDS, in every required market and language.

    Quick answer

GHS labelling software (often searched as GHS labeling software) creates hazard labels from a substance or mixture's classification under GHS, EU and UK CLP or OSHA HazCom. It selects pictograms, signal words and H and P statements, adds UFI codes where required, and formats labels per pack size and language. Worldover generates labels from the classification that also drives the SDS, so the two always match. In the UK it also supports COSHH records.

    • Pictograms, signal words, H and P statements from the classification
    • EU and UK CLP, OSHA HazCom and other GHS regimes
    • UFI codes and multilingual labels per market
    • Labels and SDS always generated from the same data
    • Reclassification flags every affected label

What to look for in GHS label software

    • Labels generated from the same classification as the safety data sheet.
    • Pictograms, signal words and hazard and precautionary statements selected automatically.
    • Market-specific rules for the EU CLP, US OSHA HazCom, GB CLP and other GHS versions.
    • Translations of standard phrases in the languages each market requires.
    • Label sizes and layouts for different pack sizes.
    • Automatic flags when a classification change makes printed labels out of date.
    • Approval before a new label version is released to production.
    • A history of every label version, by product and market.

Why labels and SDSs drift apart

In many companies the SDS is authored in one tool and the label is designed in another. When a classification changes, one gets updated and the other doesn't, and the mismatch is found by a customer or an inspector.

What GHS label software needs to do

Select the right elements for the classification and regime, apply precedence rules, handle small-pack exemptions and languages, and add UFI codes where poison centre notification applies.

    How Worldover generates labels

Worldover classifies the mixture from its composition and produces both SDS and label from that result. When a substance is reclassified, Willow lists every affected product, drafts the updated documents and queues them for approval.

A worked example: a classification change

An ingredient in a cleaning concentrate receives a new harmonised classification. The substance record is updated, and the system reclassifies every mixture that contains it above the relevant threshold.

Two products now need an additional pictogram and hazard statement in the EU and Great Britain. The labels are regenerated with the right phrases in each language, and the safety data sheets update from the same change. Willow lists the affected products, packs and printed stock for the regulatory lead to review and approve.

    What GHS labelling depends on

Correct labels depend on correct classification, which depends on accurate composition and substance data. Worldover keeps all three on one record, but the underlying data still needs to be complete and checked by someone qualified.

Worldover generates label content and layouts. Printing hardware and label stock stay with your existing printers and suppliers.
