Cosmetics: launches, promotions and the manufacturer handover
Brands should test new-product launches, promotional peaks, channel differences and stockout-distorted sales history. Forecasting a product with little history isn't the same task as replenishing an established line.
Manufacturers receive customer forecasts and confirmed orders. Agree which signal drives materials and how changes reach bulk, filling and packaging plans. A forecast must not become a firm customer commitment without the appropriate review.
