A CLP label is deterministic. Given an accurate mixture composition, component hazard data and the target market, the pictograms, signal word and H and P statements fall out. The reason CLP work still consumes weeks of expert time in most chemical and cosmetic businesses is not the printing. It is the upstream chaos: composition in Excel, classifications in a regulatory tool, UFIs in a shared drive, PCN submissions in a separate portal account.

Any mixture classified for health or physical hazards placed on the EU market for consumer or professional use needs a Unique Formula Identifier on the label and a Poison Centre Notification in every Member State where it is sold. Worldover mints UFIs per formulation version, generates the harmonised PCN dossier from the same data and tracks which markets each version has been notified in.

The 20th and 21st Adaptations to Technical Progress introduced new hazard classes for endocrine disruptors and persistent substances (PMT, vPvM) with phased transition periods through 2026 to 2028. Worldover tracks these dates per substance, flags every mixture that contains an affected ingredient, and queues label and SDS re-issues before the deadline, not after.

When a label and its SDS are authored in different tools, drift is inevitable. Worldover generates both from the same mixture record, so a classification change updates the label, the SDS and the PCN dossier in one pass.
